ABOUT THE WYO RETREAT:

This special event takes place May 2-3 at the Historic Sheridan Inn, located in Sheridan, Wyoming. You will spend time learning, planning, relaxing, and having tons of fun!

What will we be doing at the WYO Retreat?

This retreat is a beautiful combination of working on your TPT business and relaxing. There will be helpful workshop-style presentations, where you will first learn how new information on helpful topics and then implement the information provided. 

Other learning opportunities will take place during round-table discussions, which are fast-paced and centered around specific topics.

And of course, time to work with your TPT besties will be built into the schedule!

There will also be opportunities to win loads of door prizes!

We suggest you reserve your stay for Thursday, May 1st - Sunday, May 4th, so that you can fully participate in all the events AND socialize to your heart's content!

Questions and Answers

Q: I've attended meet-ups and conferences before. How is this different?
A: This meetup is different than other conferences in several ways. First, it is open to a limited number of people, so you will leave the overwhelm behind. The main presentation and table discussions are followed by individual worktime so that you can put into practice what you just learned, with guidance as needed. Additionally, this is a event at a location that is just the place for you to relax and recharge!

Q: When is the retreat?
A: The meetup begins at 8:00 am on Friday, May 2nd and ends at 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 3rd. We anticipate that most attendees will check into the hotel on Thursday evening and leave on Sunday morning.

Q: What is the cost of this event?
A: The cost of the WYO Retreat is $245. 

Q: What is included?
A: The cost covers the expenses of the meeting banquet room, unlimited wifi, breakfast AND lunch both days, entrance to the meetup and presentations, event swag, and a chance to win fun door prizes. PLUS, you are invited to attend the end-of-retreat dinner and party at Shelly's house on Saturday evening!

Q: Can you save me a spot and allow me to pay later?
A: We are sorry, but due to the limited number of attendees, we cannot save spots. It is on a first come, first serve basis.

Q: What is not included in the price of the meetup?
A: You will be in charge of paying for your own hotel room(s), as well as dinner on Friday during the event. 

Q: Will there be presentations on specific topics?
A: While there will be some presentation time, the majority of this meetup will be spent learning from each other in a relaxed, social atmosphere. We want everyone to feel 100% refreshed and recharged by the end of the meetup!

Q: Why are you only accepting a limited number of attendees?
A: We prefer smaller groups that aren't quite so overwhelming to attendees, plus the meeting space is limited.

Q: Do you offer cancellations and refunds?
A: At this time, absolutely no refunds will be given. This is due to the high demand of tickets and costs incurred on our end of the reservations.

Q: How should I dress and what should I bring?
A: Dress comfortably, as this is a relaxing meetup with workshop-style learning. Casual dress is a-ok! You should bring the following items:

• Laptop, drive, power cords, etc.
• Your favorite pens, pencils, and markers
• A wrapped gift of something from the area where you live ($15 or less)
• Clothing for 2-3 days

Q: Who makes the hotel room reservations?
A: You will need to make your own reservations at either The Historic Sheridan Inn or the Best Western Sheridan Center, located about 2 blocks away.

Q: Is there a group discount rate for the hotel rooms?
A: Yes, but just for a limited number of rooms, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The discount rate is $210/night + occupancy tax and charges. 

Q: What kinds of meals will be provided?
A: Breakfast will will have an omelette station and other customary breakfast foods. Lunch will consist of delicious wraps or sandwiches. Dinner on Friday will be on your own. Dinner on Saturday will be catered at the party at Shelly's house!
